I'm looking forward to getting my new pillow @TAB. Might try and take the old one to a pillow wash service at the local drycleaners to see if I can restore it somehow. Its made of wool it might come up after a wash. Dont know if they do wool. The service may still be at the old drycleaner may check it out to see. Dont know if the pillow will bounce back to its regular size or not we'll see

I got a quilt drycleaned couple years ago @Former-Member  took forever and didnt get basic stain out and cost a fortune. could have got  1-2 cheap quilts for what paid, have washed expensive (down some of them ) pillows and they are good for about 1 wash before get all mashed up. I used 2 pillows ok 4 for double bed, 2 'high' expensive ones and 2 soft cheapos which I throw out when get a bit manky ($25 ish )

Its hard to know isn't it? @TAB Well I may just hang onto it and put it off for now, got new pillow coming in the post next week hopefully. Don't know my chances with pillow clean service after what happened to you though, thanks for telling me. Not looking forward to full moon on Tuesday. Its exact at 9am. Lots of tense energy in the skies. It will be very difficult to navigate late Monday when the energy will be building and into early Tuesday. Wouldn't it be nice to just pluck the moon out of the sky? lol

Fair enough @Former-Member if do it yrself follow washing instructions. Handwashing prob best. Also lay flat over clothesline
