nice one @tonys however diesels way more expensive as made to tighter tolerances , as need way more compression to get any power out of them. diesel not very flammable compared to petrol. However , when you get the combination of a well made machine and very low rpm of a diesel, if you look after them should last forever, literally.
Petrol engines make more power for the same size, but rev more and not made to same tolerances as a diesel as they do not have to be

no worries @Adge 🙂💜
@TAB would you happen to know how I find the post I wrote to you where I posted the information about how to escalate the issues of DES providers? I would like to try to share this info with Adge 🙂
or @tyme can you please let me know how I can find an old post? 🙂
There is a mounting sense of injustice for sure, and I very much can understand how this is impacting 💜
I had a resource but I cant find it - however I have posted it here before, I just dont know how to find it...yet 😊

@Former-Member
Go click the top blue line under notifications. This brings up your profile and you can see where you have posted in the past. It may take a bit of searching through. I will take a look and see if I can find the post too

@tonys I noticed the kudos had changed too, but on other threads it was always supported, changed to kudos and then changed back to supported.
How are ya big fella? Hope you're doing okay 😊

um I thought i 'saved' it somehow, and it could have only been a few different ways @Former-Member but I generally delete things after a while either on purpose or by accident. So , short of spending hours digging in either tabalugas or good morning , could take days doing that.

hey there @tonys 🙂
Very interesting about the generators, and regarding the power at your place.. it really does seem like there is something mysterious about the meter, as I had 3 phase power till I converted to a multiphase digital meter unit prior to installing PV's and batteries (needed to run the ventilator if power cuts out at night)...
When I was more mobile, I used to use 2 deep cycle batteries charging off of rooftop (car) PV's via my inverter to stay away from home overnight at locations that might not have power (camping) to run my ventilator and cough assist machines overnight.
Im not allowed to run a generator where I live, otherwise I would use my old diesel one I had during power outages. Now, if power goes, I run a line across to my neighbour (in the 'burbs, this isn't difficult), and keep their fridge going 🙂
Unfortunately, I get limited in terms of how much power I can throw to the grid, because the grid isn't equipped to deal with the amount of power I generate on a hot day, which is really unfortunate because it means my inverter governs progressive PV shutdown when it could be chucking copious amounts of power about the town. This local grid was built only 10 years ago, but not with redundancy for PV generation in mind.
I hope you have a nice evening, and can kick back and relax a bit with some tea 😊

ok @Adge change providers , that will get you away from that particular job and give you a week or so to breathe.
i put in a complaint as told to, went nowhere, no point.
other one is get a sick cert and keep getting them, its a blunt instrument, but keeps them out of your hair. also one time I got out of the DES system, not so easy to get back in well have accepted 'reduced work capacity thru centerlink' but can still go to normal job network, sometimes they just leave you alone, DES can be worse in my experience, must be bigger payments at stake for the them

@MDT I think Coles use Flybuys. I haven't checked to see if the points are the same. With Everyday rewards I click on the items that have booster points on the main page of the Woolworths website. They are usually products you buy. That way it will boost more points. It does take a while to accumulate points. Don't ask me how long as I would not know but its a nice little bonus to have from time to time. Don't know if its better than Coles. I have both Flybuys and Rewards cards. Disloyal customer lol

@TAB now that he's living with stepmonster I won't be able to care for him because she despises me. Her daughter suggested I care for the both of them in independent living (I suspect so she'd get more money when the old cow carks it) and stepmonster said there was no way she would have me anywhere near her.
I'm not fazed anymore, it wasn't meant to be and I've accepted that. Just the stress of finding a full time job now.
