Re: Good Morning!

Thanks @TAB I just skimmed the article, my brains have fallen out and I'm crosseyed after being on the computer all day. I've been adding a password manager and going through all my log in accounts. Its been a long and arduous day doing manual brain sapping things. I'm copying the link now.  Will discuss it with someone tomorrow 🙂

Re: Good Morning!

Yeah great idea and very grounding. May head off in an hour or so, I'm due to go for another walk this afternoon. Just waiting for it to cool down a bit. How are you going in this heat? @TAB

Re: Good Morning!

OMG @TAB! Yeah similar here on the weekend but only a couple of days. I hope the grid holds out in Melbourne and where you are.

I've been really loving doing resistance bands training in the morning it opens the muscle and acupuncture points. The chi just flows in, its really refreshing to start the day that way. I never had that effect doing resistance bands later in the day. Must have something to do with cosmic chi in the early hours. Its quite addictive the truth be told

Well I might get going for now. Need to go and decompress.

Re: Good Morning!

ok, well good re bands @Former-Member yeah 7 days without a blackout be a stretch I think.

I should start looking at something that will give me basic power for 24 hours

think will get a radio , some candles, uht milk, and stove top kettle tomorrow. already got super duper powerbank that can charge laptop lol

Re: Good Morning!

@TAB Yes UHT a good idea. I still have some stored powdered milk which I bought prior to the inflation hit. Its still usable but may be a bit sugary to drink all at once. Have been using it to make my protein health bars without any problem with blood sugar spikes and diabetes.

The Reject Shop around here sells candles. Used to have more of them. I have a Dolphin Lantern plenty of matches, some tealight candles and that is all. Have some solar lights around the house

I need a power generator. Have been checking out the market for a while. There is a diesel generator you can buy from a company called Diamond and you can pay it off over many years. Checked out another generator company called Eco-flow as well as Tesla Power Walls which are at the top end of the market.

Maybe @tonys might know something about this?

Re: Good Morning!

fair enough @Former-Member

Re: Good Morning!

@Former-Member @TAB

not sure how much you want to spend on a genny but we got one from Bunnings. It kept the fridge and freezer going as well as computers and a couple of lamps for 4 days. The one we got was around $500 about 10 years ago. It's a petrol one.

Hope this helps 😊
