Morning all @TAB @Historylover @tonys @Former-Member @Appleblossom @Shaz51 @StuF
Hate the hot weather, I get migraines in it and don't have an icon as not allowed in community housing.
@Former-Member always look forward to reading your posts, they are always interesting and agree lots.
@Adge Haven't court up on weather you went home yesterday or not, but hoping your doing ok wherever you are.
@Historylover it is really hard living and coping these days, everything just increases apart from what we get specially when you can't work but I always make sure I have what I need for my son.
I've heard some say where nearly in a recession but government say different.
Hope everyone is having an ok day.

I've heard rumblings about a recession too, @saturnzoon, but they always manage to avert it and maintain the status quo. I hope you're doing alright.

Sorry to hear that re aircon @saturnzoon at least need fans, portable evap aircons way better than nothing. had portable reverse cycle one just made tons of noise and the hose and the back of aircon which is still in the room is like a million degrees. i wet microfibre cloths and freeze them, thaw them out just enough to unstiffen them , wring out a bit and put on head, neck , wherever, feet in wash basin of water works too

@saturnzoon That is inhumane no A/C in heatwave conditions

I agree with @Glisten How do they expect you to survive. The public should made aware.
I had a portable reverse cycle aircon once on a small camper. I had to hang a big pipe out the window to vent the heat. Let me tell you, a small space like that . . I had frost on the windows. Siberia in Cairns. A good one will work great for a small room.
Far as I'm concerned, an air con should be seen as an essential medical device in heat waves.
Thinking of you @saturnzoon .. tonys
