Hey @Faith-and-Hope @Snowie @Shaz51 @tyme @Eve7 It has been a very big week - lots of trips to see my family and a big trip away for one day. Today I have been trying to catch up on some work outside - all for school ie. cutting timber and painting props. Finally sat down to watch the basketball and footy before I get onto some more school work. I had planned on doing all that in the first week of holidays but family came first.

Hi @Zoe7
Family does come first hon. I am glad they have you, especially in those hard times.
I hope you get what you needed to do for work, sounds like the kids are going to have lots of fun.
I haven't been on here much lately either. Sending lots of love and hugs your way hon 💗💗

It is very hard for my sister @Snowie She doesn't want to do anything but also doesn't want to be at home. She does still have her cat but her dog was her world. Dad is not well either so it is all a bit too much for everyone. I could do with some more time off to help out but that is not feasible as we have commitments for next weekend and have to do all the preparations for that this week.
@Shaz51 ❤️

Sure sounds like a massive week!
Hope you don't overdo it.
How's your hand healing? Is it all better now?

@tyme Finally got the splint off my thumb today but need to keep the compression bandages on for a bit longer. I don't have any pain to touch now but my thumb/hand still aches at times. Overall, it is healing well though and the physio was pleased with how I have been managing it. It does mean I can now do a lot more but still not fully functioning just yet - that will take time (and of course me being careful ...which is not really in my nature lol).
@Snowie work is particularly hectic at present. We have a lot on and that is just going to increase as the term goes on (the last term is always like this without the extra things we are doing with the kids). Once the next 2 weeks are over I will be able to stop a little and breathe but until then it is pretty full on.
