I'm sorry that your complaints have fallen on deaf ears @ENKELI
I say this so that I won't get my posts deleted again It's annoying when posts are taken down, especially when there's nothing harmful in it. I certainly have to change my language online. I find it hard to imagine why they would take down one of your posts unless you were bagging out SANE, which I highly doubt. Your posts are usually tame in my eyes. Maybe they didn't like what you said about them (if you did say anything)
I don't mind if people put Jesus on a cross. Personally, I agree with you that Jesus has risen but I can also see that it is more visual for some people. This is typical me. I can usually see both sides to most things. 💜

@heartathome Yep, its good to be able to see different points of view, sometimes there are even more sides than 2!
@ENKELI Walking with you and hoping you are finding a helpful path in dealing with your grief, and family stuff, and online frustrations. And you are doing a course as well. You Go Girrrl! Maybe the right spirit for me is to offer up my own disappointments and upsets about social stuff. I wonder, why I ruminate and sometimes think the lesson I am supposed to learn is to be less naieve, that is, be more negative but realistic. Weary sigh!
Anyway great to see you both.
My Australia Day this year will be travelling across town for a musical workshop run by a lovely German lady, who was at our NSW festival and is passing by Melbourne before she goes back home. She has always been inspiring, and I am amazed she actually remembers my name on her annual visits. I will be paying my respects to the range of views that arise these days around the whole concept of our nation, and praying for reconciliation and best outcomes. I was originally going to play the organ but withdrew cos I feel the day is becoming too polarising and I need to be in a robust frame of mind when in music leadership. So much of the time, I am very very vulnerable, but it is also my safe quiet mystical not quite of this earth still space. Still really an introvert, though I have been more social in last few years than ever before.
Hello fellas

Hey @Appleblossom
You are right regarding multiple points of view! I like to think that I respect most people's opinions unless I feel really strongly about something. I just leave people with their point of view and take it all in. I don't like confrontation at all and avoid it like the plague. My mental capacity just can't take it anymore. I was very outspoken in my past! Now I've given up hope that the world's going to get any better. That's really sad, hey? Realistic? I'm still outspoken when I feel I need to be! (can you believe it) I've fought my way through life but now I'm tired! 💜

Hey @heartathome , thanks for sharing your strategies and what works with you in terms of handling differing opinions.
I found that over time, the way I respond has changed. In the past, I fled from anyone who thought differently, but nowadays, I move towards it and want to know more.
It's interesting, and I guess it's important to know there's no right or wrong way to do it.
Hope your day has been okay.
Here for you.

Forgiveness is an interesting one @ENKELI . Thank you for sharing what you've been listening to.
I was only talking to someone the other day, and I was saying how honest forgiveness can be liberating.
I think @Realness was sharing "he that hath not sinned, throw the first stone". Reminds me that no one is perfect. Hence there's room to forgive?
Do you often listen to the christian channel?
Once again, great to you @ENKELI . Hugs

Hey @ENKELI , I just read:
I respect most of the peer support workers, guides and moderators but I feel very rejected and worthless at times because my concerns go unheard. Note, this is my perception only and not an indictment of the Sane rules. I say this so that I won't get my posts deleted again.
Is there something you'd like me to review or have another look at? I'm sorry to hear you feel rejected when your concerns go unheard.
You deserve to be heard.
Feel free to email at team@saneforums.org so I can have another look.
Thinking of you.

@Appleblossom I am so pleased to read that you are keeping socially active.
I am critical of my appearance now that I have teeth missing and I am overweight. Even when I was a size ** [edited by moderator] I would get comments from family members so I've been sensitive about my weight most of my adult life.
I also had someone on Sane make a negative comment about plus size people which really hurt as I thought I was close to that person. They were never picked up on it, in fact I recall they were embraced for being open and honest about their feelings.
I am hoping to get a gym membership this year if I can afford it so I can start getting fit and losing weight.
I often wonder the same thing, why some people feel so much when others seem to let things roll off them.
