Hi @Silenus I love your writing. Some of your work really resonates with me. I used to write a lot too but the last 2 years or so have not had the same motivation or inspiration to do it. I feel like it's a bit to do with the medications I'm on. I also have bipolar 1.

Hi @Silenus I do miss writing. I also made a committment to being a poet for several years and was planning to publish. Put my favourite pieces together and sent them to my favourite uncle who is very literary and got no feedback whatsoever. It was a major disappointment. I think it was hard for him to relate to works about bipolar and such. Maybe one of these days I'll dig some of my pieces out and put them on here like you have. Writing is such good therapy but at the moment my urge is satisfied by being in these forums.
I really like how you don't feel obliged to make everything rhyme. I'm like that too. I do like to work rhythm in when I can.
I agree that over history many of the world's creative people have had bipolar. It's well documented now.

Sorry to hear that about your books @Silenus but I like your healthy attitude about writing for yourself.

Hi again @Silenus I was inspired by our chat to get out 'me pomes 'n' tomes' as I call them and have a look. Not sure whether to put a couple on here or if you'd prefer me to start a separate thread. Let me know please.
