@Gremlin24 Grems, it was either the pool or the horse trough.
I didn’t much care which.
Shite I got to water the orchard 🍎 💨 👋🏼

G’day Rubes @Ru-bee Yes I go alright 👍🏼
I can patch and render walls and doors. Remove or add skirting boards.
Fix a leaking tap, mount blinds, build furniture from scratch.
Woodturn pens 🖊️ and bowls. I haven’t tried whittling wood 🪵 I’d like to make my own cooking spoons 🥄 out of olive 🫒 wood. Olive wood doesn’t fluff when you wash it.
My son taught me how to landscape.
Make a compost bin from pallets. Make liquid fertiliser from horse manure.
I can chop wood with both hands and shovel. Reminds me that I need to fill in some rabbit holes.
My son said I was the only person who could keep up with him on a pick and shovel 😁
Really want to try concrete polishing 🤔
@Ru-bee what are your interests?

Wow, I really admire those with such practical skills @Glisten
Recently my biggest interests have been knitting and sewing - I just spent the weekend mending and altering clothes for myself and family members and it's such a great feeling to learn a new skill which is so useful.
I'd love to learn some of the skills you've mentioned. I can be a bit handy with minor things like patching up a hole in the wall but I'd loooove to be able to do things like fix a leaky tap. Maybe those things will come a bit more when (or if) I live in a place of own rather than renting. I'd also love a garden space to landscape myself....one day...
