Can I come and sit quietly at the beach with you @BlueBay ? I find water very calming and restful, so you have picked a good spot to sit and ponder. Ate you in the middle of your daily walk? Whats the weather like there? Here in Perth its been pretty good for our entire stay. Mostly sunny, mid 20s, but a cool breeze most afternoons. Very pleasant.

Sorry to read your D missed out on the rentals they applied for. Fingers crossed for next time.

You have your holiday break in less than a week now I think. Are you looking fwd to it still? It could prove to be a circuit breaker of sorts, and set you back on your feet again.

Wish I could take a break from things, but, I've managed to wittle away pretty much all my leave over the last year.  I used to get 'mid service' leave, sadly I'm no longer eligible for it.  Trying to hold out the next few months and see what I can manage from there. Part of me doesn't want to do Xmas at all this year, but, I can sure do with the down time.
