Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness
Dear @Shaz51
Sorry I have been very absent lately. I have been following, but not up to much responding.
Sounds as though you've had a very busy week of work this week, in and effort to catch up from last weeks rain and illness. Perhaps both you and Mr Shaz have overdone it a little, given you were both so tired and sore yesterday afternoon?
I read that you were only on the antibitics for your infection, for one week, due to kidney issues. How have you been since you completed the ABs?
I see that you were meant to have a 3-monthly checkup next week. Was that with your kidney specialist? Is it a nephrologist that you see? Mr Sherry had been seeing one since he had a kidney removed due to renal carcinoma. But with all the other specialists he sees now, thats one that has dropped off his list the past 2 years. Interestingly his latest blood tests for his oncologist this week, showed that his kidney function was down. They want more blood tests in a few weeks to check again. They didnt say what the reading was, only that it was down to what it had been. Perhaps he needs to start seeing his nephrologist again.
Is that unusual that you have not yet received a letter in the mail with an appointment for next week? Really hope you follow up on Monday to make an appointment. Your health is very important Shaz.
But I find myself rambling ... my apologies Shaz ... I'm very tired. Its nearing midnight, and I hope you are sleeping peacefully right now. Sleep being so important to maintain physical health. And mental health too of course. I guess I should try to get some rest too. I will try to catch up properly soon. You have been fairly quiet lately I think, which is a concern.
Sherry 🌺

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness
Hi there @Shaz51 ... how has your weekend been so far?
I'm thinking you are not feeling the best, as you have been very quiet the past few days.
Are you okay?
Sherry 💕

Re: Ups and Downs of Husband`s Mental Illness
I have the same problem. .male partner of 20 years . He has always had Menieres disease. Controlling...yes..denies it...yes...can't see it , yes.
I get blamed for everything also.
He had an extremely violent father. Alcohol.
He's the intelligent type but heaps judgemental.
Seems he enjoys ruining my very enjoyment. I'm pretty happy and upbeat. Could it be partly jealousy do you think ?
