Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

That’s a difficult situation for you to be in @Former-Member. I can understand how that must be upsetting for you. I know that you are a long way from there. Torn between your responsibilities. And with little assistance from your family.

How often is she visiting your place? Perhaps, as you say, she was just in a bad mood. Maybe she just meeds some words of appreciation more often. I do hope that this gets resolved for you.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Hi @soul, whatchya doing awake? Thanks. I ptobably dont thank her enough. Shes a very buisy person. A godsend in my worst years. Just feels like a loss. I don't k ow how to thank her more. & cant handle what feels like rejection. I cant put my property before my dad.
Just wole ip to a terrible nightmare, two boys fell under the train i eas travelling on, everyone's crying

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

I don’t sleep all that well @Former-Member but especially recently. My pooch is being returned to me today so that will be emotional.
Bad dreams can affect you in that way. Sounds like you aren’t sleeping much either.
What are you doing to take care of yourself?

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Perhaps you could send her a thank you card or even a small gift (gift card) now and then.
Sometimes when people are having issues of their own, they lash out in other areas @Former-Member.
We all like to feel appreciated. I understand that your priory lies with your Dad. I know from experience that the ones we love aren’t around forever. Hope you are enjoying spending time with him.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

I've not long sent a thank you card. She didnt mention it.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

I'm not good at taking care of my health but i neef yo have 3 or 4 laydowns through the day for anxiety and my back. And helping dad is being true to myself. And i like feeling useful to someone ❤

Very sad about your dag. Im guessing youre receiving the ashes today? Its heart wrenching. I had to pick ip my mums ashes recently and my girls in 2011 oh, cant go tjere right now.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Sorry if I triggered you @Former-Member.

It usually does make one feel good to be helping another unless that person is a narcissistic.
Maybe your friend will feel differently next time you speak to her.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Cant be helped
Its timing
Poor Kurra lost her dog too
My arrogant brother calls me a narcissist.
Are you messin with me @soul?
Must be the cloud of dark company about atm

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Sorry @Former-Member - I drifted off to sleep. Not messing with you at all. The point I was trying to make is that people are generally happy to help. It’s the nice part of human nature to do so and has benefits for the person helping as well as the person who is helped.

I was married to a narcissist for far too many years and he was completely all about himself. I can tell that you are a very kind and generous person who puts others first. Apologies if my meaning was misinterpreted.
