Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

No plans for tomorrow @Kurra, accept hopefully needed housework. How about you?

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Work @Former-Member. Always work. In so many ways I'm ready to retire but I fear I would miss the camaraderie of the workplace if I did retire. I'm trying to get a job in the area that I want to move to but I suspect I'd have more chance of staying with the department I'm in and working a couple of hours away from where I want to call home. I can't say I'd enjoy the idea of leaving home at 4am but it would be doable.

Time will tell. I hope you're feeling a bit better tomorrow. Hugzzz 💕🎶💕

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

@Former-Member - your story about the fire drill reminded me of the time, our fire warden was implementing a new system of alarms that incorporated one sound for fire (get out) and a different one for intruder (lock down). Problem was that the device that was to be used was malfunctioning so he was imitating the sounds.

We acted confused and made him repeat the sounds several times until he cottoned on that we were doing it on purpose. Was one of the very few entertaining staff meetings we ever had.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

What a scream @soul , literally. Made me smile ☺ But dare i say - you have a mischievous streak in you my friend lol

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Oh Kurra, doable? 4am start? 2hr travel? You deserve better than that. I pray something better comes your way - keep your eyes open ☺ And thanks for checking in on me, really 🌷🌿

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Well @Former-Member
Sort of doable. I do demand the impossible from Kurra. Have a good one! 😁

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Good morning @Kurra  Hope you get there safely.   Ooops just read back a bit further and you were talking about a 4am start in the future.  How are you this morning?

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Good Morning @eth!
I'll be on my way to work in half an hour. I'm just about to throw myself in the shower. Hopefully it will loosen up my stiff back. I'd really like to go back to bed.
I hope you have a good day today. Hugzzz 💕🎶💕

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

Battling the morning stiffness @eth. I'm blessed if I know why my bones don't feel as young as my mind and heart do.

Re: SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)

You have a good one too @Kurra
