Re: Fragile

Hi @Appleblossom  wow it sounds like your week was huge.  Well done, you always inspire me the way you get out and follow your dreams, and also the way you engage with new people everywhere you go.

Good luck getting the therapies you need paid for by NDIS.  I found that having improved health and well-being in as a goal I was able to claim for my water tai chi classes as they're at a registered physiotherapy practice - hope that helps.

Hi @Maggie @Zoe7 @Wanderer @Shaz51

@Wanderer  there's a thread I started called Anyone started with the NDIS?  where lots of us have helped each other along the process of applying and then managing NDIS plans.  If you want to talk with me more about that please feel free to join there and tag me.  Happy to share from my experiences with them - now in my 2nd plan and it's for 2 years.

Have a lovely, peaceful weekend to all here.

@WandererMoving into a new house is it whole own beast.  Takes a while to feel at home. Sometimes having older things around helps, but also adapt to the new environment. Plenty of time later to socialise. Settle in with your daughter first.

Heart

Good Luck with the NDIS process.@Wanderer Engage with the visions as fully and positively as you can.  It may not totally pan out, there are difficulties but also some wonderful opportunities.

Feeling I had to model dealing with the NDIS properly for my son, encouraged me to be more proactive in it for myself. As parents we have the repsonsibility to make whatever state or society we live in work the best way possible.  If it were just me I might have checked out. So I am still here ... and giving myself permission to live .

There was little medical evidence and mention of my neck in my original NDIS plan, though it was in my DSP. I am hoping that the next plan will put it front and centre as my GP did.

Re: Fragile

Leaving toxic things of the past behind is best. @Wanderer  Sometimes not easy, it is often an ongoing process, of facing it and letting it go.  Took me a while ... ha ha ...20 years ... but worth it ...

Yes people have their opinions without knowing the full story.

You have the right to live the best version of you that you can.

Re: Fragile

Thinking of you and sending warm wishes @Appleblossom  xx  Hope you saw that @Mazarita  posted on A long rave  on page 2419.  Wonderful to see her again tho' she does have some challenges atm.  Thinking of you too @Mazarita  and tagging you here in case you didn't know about this thread.  I remember well and fondly the long late night/early morning raves the 3 of us used to have.

Take care both of you xx

Re: Fragile

@eth Thanks for tagging @Mazarita to this thread.

I hope you are both doibng alright.

I had a lovely day yesterday with some local ladies at a council do, and a lovely day today at a choir do. Tmrw should be good as we have an interesting training session and then I am invited to my son's for movie and a meal and to hear about his first week at uni.

Heart

Feeling very fortunate with these things in my life, but I am struggling a lot with my neck atm. Trigger yesterday was too cold air conditioning and my neck is still bad. Its getting very touchy again. Just have to deal with it. SO glad my son is doing better.

Hugs All who read along, are interested, or post on this thread.
