Hey, I'm not looking for advice, just needed somewhere to express my feelings. Thank you for reading.
I've currently stalled in therapy, I have a hard time connecting with others and it's translated to difficulties being truly open and vulnerable with my psychologist. Every time we attempt to explore feelings, I can feel a block, the protective part that doesn't open up to people and hides their true feelings. Outside of therapy I struggle with feelings of sadness and loneliness, the sensation is a deep agony in my chest. I wish I could properly explore this in therapy, but parts of me refuse to let that happen. It makes me feel like nothing will ever work and its pointless. I wish I could better connect with the different parts of me.
