Re: Celebrating NAIDOC Week

Watching the Gurrumul vid. Thx @Gazza75

Also Gurrumul's CD was a prize in a raffle, that I wanted to win, but it got snapped up.

Re: Celebrating NAIDOC Week

Hope you enjoy it @Appleblossom .  I've been searching for some of his CD's, but, haven't had any luck in tracking them down.  One day.    Smiley Happy

It was striking; his dark portrait on a white background.

Re: Celebrating NAIDOC Week

@Gazza75  @Appleblossom try through SkinnyFish Records - they produce and manage many Northern Territory artists and had a lot to do with Gurrumul.  I saw him a few times.  The best was with Paul Kelly doing Amazing Grace in yolngu language at the Barunga Festival (southeast from Katherine, Aboriginal community) under the stars.  Brought tears to my eyes.

Great links Apple.
