@CheerBear @Queenie @Alone I Hope you get good news, the NDIS system is so stuffe
@eth , my younest son has been with the NDIS since it started, and it wasn't set up properly as the providers weren't even sure how to manage it back then, you would have thought from 2015 when it started to now, they would have it running perfectly where as it's the opposite. The government underestimated the number of disability people that had to change over and they have 3 times as many people that they had down for and not enough money to cover every one, so as plans get renewed majority of people are getting less than they had and there's even kids packages have been halved and so are missing out on vital services they had, and now that they have all age groups on board now they just don't have enough for us all.
We had a big information session here in Adelaide last year about people not getting accepted for the NDIS and they ,lost all there other services they were getting as majority of disability companies can now only help NDIS clients, I know quite a few who have been rejected by NDIS especially MH people are suffering as we just fall through the gap now.
My first application was rejected and now waiting to hear about my review which should have been done 2 months ago, but there still in the process of looking at it and if I get rejected again,Then I will be on my own and have no help as the support I was getting can only do NDIS approved clients and if that happens I WILL not manage to keep myself safe anymore

Good morning @saturnzoon Hearing you loud and clear about downfalls of NDIS. And this week it was announced that millions of dollars of budget allocated for NDIS have not been spent. Outrageous.
Re : rejections - I went through initial application, submission of further supporting evidence, internal appeal and eventually external appeal through the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (you have to have the internal one before you can do this). It's not an easy road to walk but it is worth persevering if you possibly can. You can get a Disability Advocate for free and mine was a massive help. They got me a legal aid lawyer too. Eventually NDIS conceded and accepted me only 2 days before the hearing was scheduled. Google Disability Advocates to find one in your state. I really encourage you to give this a try if your review is rejected.
Take care.

Well I just got a letter from NDIS and they knocked me back again, I can't believe it and not
Coping with the outcome, all my specialist said it would go through as I have trouble with section 24 and can't cope with them, not sure how to deal with this, I'm numb and not thinking straight right now, just crying.
