Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

Yes @Kyle1 I had eggs tonight

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

@Dimity

Hopefully the iron and such helps combat your fatigue. ..

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

I'm glad to hear things should ease up for you now, @Dimity  🙂 Hope you can sleep OK and get some rest and less stress. It sounds good that you just talked to your helper instead of pressuring yourself to declutter.

You sound quite disciplined in general about sticking to your grocery list.

I feel down today but can't turn on my therapy light as my skin is too itchy. I got a therapy light last year for my SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) - it really helps, but too much makes my skin itchy. Unfortunately it's gloomy today in Melbourne - as you would know.

So I'm not setting myself any goals today other than to do my morning routine (1 hour) and some laundry. Sometimes my morning routine creates momentum that I can then use to do some decluttering...I'll see.

Thanks for your kind words.

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

I'm sorry you're feeling down @NatureLover . I've noticed the mornings and evenings are so much darker as the season turns. I'd wondered about a therapy light to help my phase shifted sleep.

Yes I find having a grocery list quite empowering.  I tend to cook unprocessed food with seasonal ingredients and have simple tastes so I don't need to do a lot of menu planning, I just replace what I've used.

A morning routine sounds good. I don't tend to have much rhythm in the day til afternoon, although I'm improving. I like the idea of creating momentum.

Do you have plans for the weekend?

Hi @Dimity 🙂

I know the therapy light does affect sleep as I was told to only use it first thing in the morning or it would affect my sleep patterns. It has been amazing for my depression though...I used to miss so many days at my volunteer job due to depression, but since I started the lamp a year ago I haven't missed a day. I still get down but not as bad.

However the therapy lamp has to be big enough and strong enough to make a difference. I think those little ones that sit on your desk aren't effective enough.

You have such healthy eating habits, I'm impressed.

Plans for the weekend...I was going to stay at home and work on the house for 3 days straight. However I've woken up feeling restless and wanting to put on a nice dress and go out a socialise! I have 2 social events coming up in April but nothing now. So I'm not sure what to do...I could go out to the library 20 minutes away and go shopping on the way home, I guess. Or I could use the rare burst of energy for decluttering. That's probably what I should do, although it's a bit depressing.

How about you?

I think this is normal when you are a night owl...

Hoping you have a good day today.

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

I hope you had a nice day whichever way  you decided @NatureLover .

I had no real plans. I went out this afternoon and probably will again tomorrow, still helping. It's a bit distressing.

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

Oh...I hadn't realised you were still helping your level 5 hoarder friend, @Dimity ...yes, it would be distressing and exhausting 😞

I hope you are OK and can get enough rest 💚

I messaged 2 friends yesterday but they couldn't meet up for coffee yesterday. That's OK, I stayed home.

Good luck today...

P.S. Am happy to see we are on page 333 of this thread 😄 (I have OCD)

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

Haha I like numbers too @NatureLover

Yes my friend needs support, she's battling pain and illness. I'll get back to my own stuff but I'm a bit slower on higher meds.

I wonder if you can get to 1000?

You've inspired me to think about what I could aim for in a morning routine.

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

Popped in to say hi @NatureLover

I'm sorry your friends couldn't do coffee. I'll make you one in the morning and it will be just how you like it

Sending you wishes that you are able to use your therapy lamp.

Sending you an abundance of 💙💚💛☀️🌄🌞🐛🐞👐🤗

Re: Any diagnosed germophobes or hoarders on this forum?

Aww, lovely to see you @Anastasia ! Thanks for popping in! ❤️

The joke's on me @Anastasia  and @Dimity as I uncovered 2 post-it notes on my calendar yesterday morning and found a lunch engagement with friends that I'd forgotten about and hadn't psyched up for! It was a scramble to get ready in time but it went well and I got to wear a new dress and shock them with my clothes makeover 😄

Still not able to use therapy lamp as too itchy! But the next 3 days in Melbourne are due to be gloomy so am a bit concerned.

Thank you for your bugs, hugs and ❤️ @Anastasia ...right back atcha! 💚🐛🪳🕷
