A short rhyme of my experience (2nd episode)

A Small Journey
Things are all fun when you’re young,
let’s have a spliff and drink some rum.
But before you know it, it can all come undone.

Then you’re struggling to keep your mind in one piece,
trying to keep your thoughts at ease.
Suddenly you’re the talk of the town and
you can’t wipe away your frown.

So sensitive to every sound,
it’s like you’re training on an army ground.

Every bird’s whistle is a command,
to not fulfill those demands is like abandoning your native land.
A pirate I will become,
sailing the high seas and ruling under the sun.
Then she comes into my head, wishing I could be with her instead.

We’d devise a plan; we could live in a distance land.

We’d be happy,
practicing meditation and peace techniques wouldn’t be tacky.

I’ve gone off track but now I’m back.
Surrounded by family and friends all saying I’m whack.

I just need sleep, some pills should help with that.
“Yeah sure we’ll go get some, just jump in the car”

Oh fuck it must have been those bikies in the bar.

They’ve got to them too and there’s nothing I can do.

I’ll go with them, I do need sleep and feel a little weak.

So we’ve arrived here and I don’t like the atmosphere.

They’re all here and are in position to put an end to the kid
 and his inquisition.

My poor family, they don’t understand.
They don’t realise the enemies at hand.
I’ll take a stand “end me now”

The nurse walks over and jabs a needle in my vein;
I hope I die with little pain

Wishing the world away

Welcome @Jamie Smiley Happy

I haven't seen you around the forums! Thanks for your lyricial lines, your creative energy provides a visual perspective on what must be a, 'very ordinary situation', (to say the least). It sounds like you have  put some distance behind you? I'm sure others will welcome your, 'spin' on things, look forward to your reply.

Thank you so much @-karma- It's just something I do to waste a little time.
I just heard of Sane today!
I have put some distance behind me. I had a psychotic episode a little over a year ago now. Only recently have the side effects of medication started to subside (with alterions). But I'm in a good way now.
