Re: A long rave

Hi @Bill16  have kicked off the Saturday Soiree - all welcome!!  thread if you want to join in over there.  No plans for today, need a day of rest after the week I had (see post above).  How's today looking for you?

Re: A long rave

Hi @saturnzoon  hoping today is looking better for you and that some of what I suggested the other day re NDIS is helpful to you at some stage.  Take care xoxo

Re: A long rave

Good morning @Maggie and have a nice weekend. All good wishes. Bimby2.

Re: A long rave

Morning to you @eth  and everyone else here today!!!!!

Hope everyone has a great day and a fabulous weekend.  Long weekend here so even better.

I have had a massive week at work, so busy it was like xmas in one week.   Mind and body trying to get over it all now.  Another huge week coming up next week too (xmas stock arriving)  so I am just going to relax and rest for three days so I can face up to next week refreshed and energised (that is the plan anyway lol).

It has been full on for you @eth  by the sounds of it.   Hopefully today is the complete opposite for you and you stayed relaxed and chilled.

Blessings to everyone

Take care and keep smiling

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Re: A long rave

Hi @Scarecrowe  hope we both get the rest we need today.  It's only just after 10.30, I gave up trying to sleep around 5 and am already ready to go toes up and watch some eps of a show I like on netflix.  What will you do to relax and refresh?

Re: A long rave

I completely understand being tired all ready @eth   I got up about 8.30 and cleaned the bathroom and did two loads of washing.  Then did 40 mins of excercise and now I am ready to have a nanna nap so soon lol.

To relax I like watching my fav movies or tv shows, reading, listening to music and playing computer games.  I like watching sport as well but so much of it is not on free tv these days so my choices are limited sadly.  Not like the good old days my friend lol.

What do you like doing to relax after a busy day???

I am in the process of deciding whether to start a new forum here on the 1980's as I am stuck in the 80's and enjoyed everything from that era, music, tv, movies fashion etc.

Re: A long rave

I've forgotten most of the 80's @Scarecrowe !  Had a pretty wild lifestyle in those days!  A thread on that topic could be quite fun.  Please tag me there when you do it.

After a busy day - as little as possible ... often too tired to even come on the forums and just unwind with telly.  Enjoy cooking to share with others - I live in a cabin at my bro and sil's place and sil's mum lives next door so we sometimes eat all together.  If I have spare time with a support worker we go sit at one of the beautiful beaches here.  And the water tai chi I do twice most weeks totally puts me in a zen zone.  Even just watering our vegie garden often freshens me up a bit.  It's the little things.  Occasionally some craft or writing too.

Re: A long rave

What fantastic ways to relax @eth    I am jealous of you being near beaches.  I love sitting on the beach and chilling out.  Closest beach is an hour away and I don't drive so I don't get to do that very often.  When I watch people doing tai chi it zens me out without me actually doing it, it is so relaxing.   I like writing as well and I would love to write a book but I find it rather difficult at times.  Then I get frustrated with myself and give up.

Well since you love cooking and I hate cooking but love eating, not a great combo, if you ever feel the need to cook me something I am all for it lol.

You are right, it is the little things that are relaxing for sure.

Well you have convinced me to start an 80's forum lol.   If I had a time machine I would go back and live it all again (except this time skipping school lol).    Thanks for liking the idea. Appreciate the support.
