Up again, after a number of chunks of sleep last night and this morning, and a couple of hours awake in the early hours chatting with @greenpea and @The-red-centaur. Have added up enough sleep for now, though I'm still tired and had an inadvertent micro-sleep in the armchair just before this. Writing to keep myself awake now.
Still in my nightie and dressing gown, my comfort clothes. Don't want to get out of them yet. So far I've breakfasted and taken meds and turned on music on the TV/radio to try to lift my energy and wakefulness more. That and opened the blinds. These are good things I try to always do when feeling demotivated at the start of days, as is so often the case. What a contrast to the middle of the night, when I'm often at my peak!
There's a chance I might end up at my friend's place today, which would be a great thing. It would get me out of the flat and social. Almost always lifts me a lot. If not, I have no plans and could well spend the day in my nightwear. I'll try not to do that, but don't always succeed on days like today.
@greenpea, how was your walk this morning? Did you do any running? It's lovely imagining you at first light watching the bay, while getting some exercise and fresh air. I love twilight times, perhaps as much as I like the middle of the night.
@The-red-centaur, I too have a trans friend, sweet person with MI too. Also had a year-long relationship a couple of decades ago with someone who was intersex, born with genetic characteristics of both male and female.
I wonder who might be around for a chat this morning. Hi to @outlander, @CheerBear, @Teej and @Faith-and-Hope. If you or anyone else passing through feels like chatting, I'm here. No worries, if not. Maybe catch you later.
Hope today brings okay or better times for all.

Hi @Mazarita, @outlander, @Maggie, @CheerBear, @The-red-centaur, @greenpea, @Faith-and-Hope and anyone reading.
it looks like you had a busy night Maz. I’m here to say hi but need to get going soonish although I’d much rather sit curled up with this rug and spend the day on the forum. I have group in a few hours and then I promised my son I’d go to the football with him (an AFL match). It is raining and cold here but it means so much to him, I can’t cancel. I used to take him when he was younger and he has good memories of it. He has planned to take me out to tea first which kind of feels wrong in that I should be taking him out.
i hope you have a lovely time getting out of the flat and spending time with you friend Maz

@Mazarita Well I headed off in pitch blackness, tomorrow I will take a torch, I stumbled in the dark for a bit .... took me awhile to get my bearings and then off I trotted to the bay. The bay was beautiful ... all these colourful lights were reflecting and dancing in the water .... It was only me a couple and a dodgy character dressed in a black hoodie. I thought of you and @The-red-centaur as I walked along.
Although sore muscles today tomorrow I will run just for a bit. The pea is going to run again. 🙂

Good to hear you got some sleep last night, @outlander, even if broken. I often get enough sleep by adding up chunks of sleep. Almost never get a complete night's sleep these days. I too am a bit sick in the stomach this morning, dinner didn't agree with me last night.
@Teej, I think it's lovely when adult children take their parents for meals and pay. I try to do this with mum as much as I can, when I'm there on my visits or when she travels up here. Let your son shout the meal, it will give him pride and pleasure and is meant to show his love for you. Hope group is good for you. Great to see you, even if briefly, this morning.

@greenpea, awesome with the walk this morning, sounds beautiful. Maybe the dodgy hooded character was just another one of us night wanderers. Glad there was another couple around though. Woohoo, the pea is going to run again! (Or should that be roll, lol).
