Glad you find that the ECT helps your depression @Snowie
I don't feel it helped me that much, if anything it increased my anxiety. I never came out of the anaesthetic very well.
Its a big ask being in hospital for a month for treatment, so it's great that once a week as an outpatient is available for you.

Hope you have heard from your boys @Anastasia and they have safely reached their dads place. In which case you should be sound asleep by now.

I did thank you @Emelia8 but I woke just now to a 4am.message from.my boy so concerned as to why he was asleep and messaged...all he said was hey Mum...
So will have to wait and hope that it was nothing.
Ironically your message was the same time. Wish I had been awake. I do hope you had some sleep Em. 🙏💕
Day 7...I hope you like these, they all make me think of you. The scolls are licorice 😁

it is taxing @Former-Member It tires me out for the rest of the day and I find it difficult to do anything else for the rest of the day.
I think it does lift my mood a little, which makes my days a little better and I can achieve more.
I can understand the "staying in bed" and it has helped with that.
As always, everyone finds the results different for them. My thought process was it won't hinder me any more, so I might as well try it. Even a little improvement in better then nothing.
I don't really feel brave going through it. I feel like I had no choice in the end. It was either try that or give up completly.

Hello dear @Anastasia . Pleased to hear the boys arrived at their destination safe and sound. Its very wet right along the East coast of NSW with strong winds and damaging surf along with heavy coastal rain. I wouldnt want to be out on the water right now. Hmmm, not sure what to make of your boy's 4am message saying "hey Mum". Hoping it was a case of him waking up in the middle of the night and thinking of you, then sleepily sending a quick text to let you know he loves you. Hope you have heard something more since then, and that all is well.
How was pizza night, sorry I missed it. Do you have any plans for your weekend, given you have semi freedom with the boys away? Perhaps some quality time with your bf, or just a chance to relax and unwind after an emotionally hectic few weeks. Have you started a new diamond painting yet? And how did you go with sealing and framing your last one? Hope it turned out well.
I got a couple of hours sleep from about 11pm until around 1am, before nightmares woke me up with a nasty jolt. Took a while to ground myself and reassure myself that I was safe. Then I got maybe another hour of sleep from around 5am. Listened to the rain on the roof after that. So I'm feeling very weary and shaky this morning. Hubbys friend has invited him to a pub lunch today, and I'm hoping he feels up to going. If he does, I'll try to have a sleep then.
Just re-reading your pic from this morning. Very appropriate it is too. You always know what I need. I think you must be a mind reader? Breathe deep, relax the shoulders, unclench the jaw, be present (and not stuck in the past).
And of course you have also provided some of my favourite things (reminds me of the movie The sound of music 😊) ... how clever are you? You have given me a meerkat standing sentry/guard ... need that right now, to help keep me safe. Licorice ... I love licorice! In fact I bought a packet of those Darrell Lee chocolate coated licorice twists, only yesterday when I was in town to collect my new glasses. And a nice comforting hot chai latte. You have thought of everything ... as always, you have been the ever thoughtful and very intuitive friend that you are to so many. Love you lots.

Hello @Emelia8
Interesting that you should mention being on the water today...I believe that is what the plan was for the boys. I do hope that the weather holds up enough for them to get out and do things. I think it's the races tomorrow.
Yes you were correct, my boy is excited and didn't sleep soundly so woke and was thinking of and apparently missing me, bless him 💕
Pizza night was lovely, just the four of us and you and @Eve7 in spirit. Caught up.kn all things Mum and Dad which was nice.
No plans at all for me and or bf...rest I think is probably highest on the agenda.
I'm so sorry you had another tumultuous sleep although not at all surprising sadly given the circumstances and the constant news reports around parliament. You can't escape it and I am so sorry you are having to endure any of it. If I could take it away I would more than you know 😔
I do hope hubby heads to the pub so you can catch some sleep yourself or even just a rest as I am certain you need it🤞🙏
I haven't touched my diamond painting for a few weeks sadly. It's quite large so I can't do it on my lap like the others so it means I'm in the dining room away from my boy/s and I feel a little selfish doing that too often. Perhaps I'll get to do some this weekend. It is pretty and I will be hanging this one up for sure. I haven't been brave enough to seal frame any yet Em. I did see some canvases in Officeworks that were perfect but I didn't have the size of the paintings on me so didn't purchase any. I should make a list for times like that 🤔
I have you in my heart today dear Em, if you need me holler 💐🌸💞
