My day was ok @WIP
Had ECT this morning so that takes up most of the day.
How are you going tonight?

Oh, I didn't realise you were doing ECT as an outpatient. Hope you are feeling ok today after the procedure? @Snowie
I'm so so tonight - been another tough day. I don't sleep well at all, so the days are a struggle too.

@WIP I've done ECT as an inpatient before. It goes quicker but then I am away from my kids. So this is easier and better for everyone, just takes a lot longer.
Sorry to hear it has been a tough day and you didn't get much sleep last night. Hoping you get some better sleep tonight and tomorrow is a little better for you.

Hi @Former-Member
I have ECT once per week, every Friday. I have got 12 sessions this time and have done about 5 so far. I do it as an outpatient this time. I have done it as an inpatient before but it is easier on my kids and husband if I do it this way. This is about the 3rd lot of treatment I have had.
It helps with my depression. It is not something that is a magic cure, but I feel that it does help.
Some side effects I have are short term memory loss, headaches and muscle pain. They are not bad side effects or effect me greatly so can deal with them easily.
