Good rain here this weekend, seasonal ponds full. Feeling like we are slowly getting things under control but can't do it without occasional assistance and Mr Darcy seems accepting of this. Had the gardener back in, he whipper snipped the chook run, lightly pruned some shrubs and tidied up some watsonias that had gone berserk.

Succulents super easy to transplant @Shaz51 , if you don't want to risk the whole plant, take a bit off and stick it in a pot, you should get a good strike rate.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

I will @Former-Member, where they are now , you can`t see them , have to take a photo

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Nothing like fresh home grown beef @Former-Member

Hi @Smc @Appleblossom @Determined @Shaz51 @Former-Member

How are your gardens coming along?
Did you try doing succulent cuttings @Shaz51

In keeping with crisis proofing the garden, at the weekend I picked up a couple more buddleias, they seem to thrive on neglect at our place, different colour to what we have and a more compact variety, have not planted they yet, but have a spot in mind.

Have suggested to Mr Darcy that we need to get a bit more weeding done and put out some mulch as we have plenty of hay we can use.

Re: Self care by growing a garden

Have some weeding to do also @Former-Member, roundup and matches ready and waiting to go 😅
