Explore what works for you as self-care. Maybe keep a list that you add to. Then you can look at it when things aren't going so well and get ideas. Even if you can't go out there are things you can do e.g. listening to music, gardening, watching movies, making sure you get enough sleep, eating healthily, taking up an art or craft activity or some sort of hobby, writing, whatever rocks your boat.
And the above includes what someone else suggested already - getting the person you care for involved in some activities they enjoy where they can participate while you have some time for yourself. Or having someone come to the home to care for them even for an hour or two a week.
Don't be afraid to ask for help.

Wow, time has flown. We are at the end of the event. What a fantastic conversation it has been tonight around a really important topic.
